To officially secure any photo session date and time, a deposit equal to 50% of the estimated total fee is required immediately upon booking.
This deposit guarantees the exclusivity of the date for the client and serves as a reservation fee. The deposit is fully refundable or transferable if you reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled session. If rescheduled or cancelled less than 48 hours before the session, the 50% deposit is forfeited and non-refundable.
To prioritize security, avoid fraudulent booking inquiries, and maintain high standards of accountability, Davesmflens enforces a strict identity check.
Verification Method: Clients must present a valid government-issued photo identification card (such as a passport or driver's license) in person to the photographer at the start of the scheduled shoot. The name on the ID must match the name registered on the booking form.
Data Privacy: No photos, scans, or details of the identification document are photographed, uploaded, or stored digitally on our servers. The verification is entirely physical and takes place on site on the day of the session.
We understand that unexpected schedule conflicts arise. Clients may reschedule or cancel their booking up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled session time without losing their deposit. For cancellations, the deposit will be returned in full; for rescheduling, the deposit will roll over to the new approved date.
If rescheduling or cancelling is requested less than 48 hours before the session, the 50% deposit is forfeited and is non-refundable. A new deposit will be required to book a future slot.
In the rare event that the photographer must cancel due to illness or force majeure, the deposit will be returned in full, or the client may choose to reschedule at no additional charge.
The standard turnaround time for the high-end editing process is less than 1 week for Portraits and up to 2 weeks for Events. Retouched digital images are delivered via a secure, private online download gallery link.
Copyright & Usage: Davesmflens retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the photographs taken. The client is granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, personal license to print, share, and post the images on social media. Commercial usage rights require prior written agreement and custom licensing fees.
